New website up, with a blog now! I'm going to recap the last couple months...
In August shot BT at Club Firestone, turned out to be a pretty good show with a great turnout. Ended up with some pretty nice snaps. BT played some good tracks but some how managed to slither through the “Emotional Technology” album without playing my two favorite tracks (Superfabulous and Circles). Somnambulist was probably the pinnacle of the night though. Man, he's got an impressive stage computer setup.

September brought deadmau5 into the area. A last minute issue ended up rendering me pay-less for this one as well, but it was a hell of a show(since I'm a bit of a deadmau5 fan). I had also come down with a flu earlier that week so I was pretty out of it. He played a mind blowingly scorching remix of Does it Offend You, Yeah?'s “With a Heavy Heart(I regret to Inform you)” that I have yet to find anywhere on the Internet/for purchase. I waited around 'til “Not Exactly” and and peaced out afterwards. Had been a loooong day.

Out of the blue the very awesome Ryan Marshall got in contact with me to shoot Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re at the Social. Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re is a trio of ladies from the land of the rising sun who kick out some solid progressive rock. They put on a fantastic show, with an amount of energy that can only be rivaled by something the likes of Andrew WK. For the very reason I love The Social (as a venue), they got off the stage and performed the last song in the crowd. There is nothing at all like a high energy show in a small area.

The end of September found me and the Joose Crew in Atlanta for The Presets/Cut Copy show. Two fantastic indie/electro/rock bands from the land down under. I have a bit of a bias for Aussie bands because they really seem to have an amazing sensibility when it comes to electronic music. We crashed on a friends floor, went to a pretty cool house party, and made some new friends. Touched the tip of the Atlanta iceberg and had our friend Theo gives us a tour of what was fresh in the ATL. I pulled a major screw up and DIDN'T bring the camera into the show, throughly blowing the chance of photographing the BEST LIT SHOW I've ever attended in my life. Oh well. I'm trying to not bring my camera everywhere because I fear that I'm starting to look a little obsessed.
